Start your visit at the National Science and Media Museum, where you could easily spend a couple of hours exploring interactive galleries, exhibitions and family-friendly displays. It’s one of Bradford’s most popular attractions and a great place to begin your visit, especially if you’re travelling with children.

Don’t forget to take a stroll around Lister Park, a Green Flag Award-winning oasis just outside the city centre, with beautiful gardens, boating lakes, play areas and the Cartwright Hall Art Gallery. If your time in Bradford leads into the evening, or if you’re a fan of historic architecture, the Alhambra Theatre is well worth visiting. This iconic venue hosts everything from West End musicals and comedy shows to ballet, drama and family productions throughout the year.

No visit to Bradford would be complete without spending some time in Saltaire. Just a short drive from the city centre, this beautifully preserved Victorian village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Yorkshire’s true hidden gems.
